[Award of Excellence] The HIS X700 AGP proved to be quite the little power house when it came to handling games such as HL2 and Doom 3, these two in particular we were worried that they might not even be playable with no more gigahertz than we had, but the worry was all for not. So if your in the market for a video card that just might make that old computer of your worth keeping for another year think about buying the HIS X700 IceQ AGP, you can't go wrong.

[Silver Award] Overall the only thing budget about the X700 IceQ is the price tag. Full of options including the flashy UV reactive and LED fan with the cooling housing and its ability to keep things cool is a plus. Add the fact that it has many TV and dual monitor display options along with the provided software and cables the X700 IceQ is packaged nicely for the budget minded.

[XYZ Computing Editors Choice] This card is powerful and capable. Its not going to beat out a 6800 series card or a PCIe based X700, but it proved to be a better option than the 9800 Pro / XT. Considering its price this card is a nice upgrade, its way cheaper than building a new computer, and it can keep your AGP system gaming. It's a good upgrade from something like the 9600s if you want a new card without breaking the bank.

The first is better cooling at a lower noise level, then you have to remember that this baby is UV reactive to add a nice touch to anyone's LAN box. The iTurbo feature, which has also become a main stay of HIS, is a nice feature allowing quick overclocking of the card.  

To top it off they also provide an extremely easy to use overclocking tool that overclocks the card slightly, making it just a bit faster. With the high clocks the card is capable of it's a bit surprising to see the very conservative clocks that HIS went with for the Turbo mode however. - Impressive overclocking ability - Excellent cooling performance - Decent bundle - No external power requirements - UV glow looks perdy

[Supreme Value Award] The Radeon X700 Pro IceQ Turbo managed to achieve an impressive 481MHz core overclock. The memory result was also quite pleasing hitting 1062MHz DDR. This graphics card is more than capable of playing today's most graphically intense games using respectable settings. This product is particularly exciting for those looking for an afforable means of spicing up their AGP gaming system.

[4-1/2 Stars Award] Activating the overclocked Turbo Mode (500/1000MHz DDR) is simple enough for even non-techies. While it may seem like minor overclocking by experienced users, at least the warranty acts as a safety net for those who do not have the confidence of going it alone. The most silent, less than 20 decibels noise output and cool performance of the card is another major plus point. In fact, we feel that it is definitely worth the price of losing a spare expansion slot of this cooler.
